ABOUT MAGNOLIA EDUCATION
Hi, I’m Rachit — founder of Magnolia Education and lifelong learner. If you’ve landed here, it’s probably because your kid might be a little like I was: struggling with school, but achieving elsewhere. It’s a tough place to be.
The good news? It can get better. (I’m proof.)
Magnolia Education focuses on four founding principles:
Every child is different, and so is how they learn. We help your child understand how they learn best as the first step toward better grades.
Real learning takes time. We focus less on memorization and more on letting concepts soak in, teaching the patience to let that happen.
We’re strong believers in keeping kids curious and engaged. Asking questions is how we learn and push ourselves—and others—to grow.
All success deserves celebration—not just for better grades, but at every milestone. Learning is a journey, and we believe in stopping to admire the view.
We believe in a value-based approach to online tutoring, helping your kid succeed in school and beyond.
Seva is a Hindi word, meaning “an act selfless service without intention.”
Think if it as a labour of love; serving without any expectation in return. Though we live in a market-based society, and it’s often difficult to balance Seva with survival, we try our best to keep this value at the heart of our decision-making in order to better serve our community and the world.
Tutors should become useless. Surprised? Let us explain.
We aim to inspire an approach to learning that gives all students a sense of independence. Our goal is for students evolve to learn how to use tools and skills to solve their problems and increase their own learning, transforming tutors into a resource instead of someone to rely on.
We believe math lies at the perfect intersection of beauty and function.
Adding colour, organization, and unique tools and diagrams encourage students to feel the awe and beauty that math can produce.
And the feeling of solving a problem? We think that’s pretty beautiful, too.
Qualified Math and English tutors with advanced degrees and teaching experience, here to help your kid go from “I don’t know” to “I want to know.”

PRO-BONO ONLINE TUTORING
If you have a student struggling at school but find private tutoring out of financial reach, we’d love to help. Please note that at this time, we’re only able to accept a small number of students into our funded program, though we hope to continuously grow that number.
