Sessions are prepaid for each month. Payment is due before the first session of the billing period. The standard payment method is e-transfer to hello@magnolia-education.com.
Every session is a trial. If tutoring is not the right fit, even after four sessions, you can cancel at any time and receive a prorated refund for unused sessions in the current month.
Once enrolled, your weekly session slot is reserved for the duration of the school year. There are no cancellations during the school year (July and August are excluded from this commitment).
This commitment ensures your student has a consistent schedule and their tutor can plan effectively.If you need to miss a session, you must provide at least 24 hours of notice to receive a makeup credit or to reschedule the session directly.
Sessions missed without 24 hours of notice are billed as a normal session with no makeup credit.
Makeup credits expire at the end of each semester: January for the fall semester, and June for the winter/spring semester.
Sessions are booked on all holidays throughout the school year, with two exceptions:
- The December break (Christmas through New Year's)
- The first weekend and week of March break
Your credit card is kept on file for security purposes only. It is not charged for regular session billing. Sessions are billed and paid by e-transfer each month.
Your credit card will only be charged in two situations:
- An outstanding balance remains unpaid at the end of the semester
- An outstanding balance remains unpaid 30 days after the end of your engagement
A 3% convenience charge applies to all credit card transactions.
